for mother's club i set up a field trip to the local fire station and i think it was a huge success! the firemen were so awesome with the kids and it was informative, as well as fun. win win!

ps. have i mentioned i went BLONDE?!?!? it's still weird to me (i'm a brunette at heart!) but i'm enjoying the change :)
after the tours, the kids came in and they got to see a fireman in ALL of his gear. the discussion went a little long (for our young group!) but at the end they were treated with coloring books, stickers, and a pencil!

as soon as we walked through the front door, the crayons were out and they were coloring in their books! max has been talking about this visit a lot and can't wait to go again!
So so fun!! I want to go again now that we are in a new place. Firefighters are the best.
