i never thought i'd say it, but i think my kids are pretty fond of nephi. when july rolls around, the mammoth parade for the ute stampede definitely makes nephi one cool place to be. and this year, the kids could hardly wait for the parade to start!
we met up with our friend jenny and her kids and only had to walk about five houses down to get some great seats! the kids had a blast (and got wayyy too much candy!) and it made our 2013 ute stampede experience complete. (we didn't make it to the rodeo this year. too much $$ + young kids = not worth it.) we will however, indulge in the demolition derby august 10th for the juab county fair!!! :)

Ave's outfit is so cute! By next year you'll find yourself wishing people "Happy Stampede" just like it's a holiday...because it is :)
